Eligibility Criteria for IASST Vacancy
Educational Qualification: –
1) Resource persons- i) M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Life Science, ii) B.Ed. degree from recognised University /College.
Desirable Qualification & Experience- i) Ph.D. in science from recognized University, ii) Minimum one-year science teaching experience in school, and iii) Experience of online teaching.
2) Project Assistant- i) Graduate in Chemistry, Zoology, Botany.
Desirable Qualification & Experience- i) Computer knowledge, and ii) Working experience in school.
Age limit: –
a) Resource persons- Maximum 65 years as on the last date of submission of application.
b) Project Assistant- As per GOI guidelines.

About IASST: – The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) is an autonomous R & D institute under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), GOI engaged in multidisciplinary research on basic science and technology development. IASST has a research group focused on understanding the role of various ethnicity factors on human gut microbiome and health. One of the mandates of IASST is to enhance livelihood of the ST/SC communities of the north-east through scientific interventions. DST has sanctioned a proposal for expanding our ongoing activities under ‘ST/SC community development programme in IASST’ with 2 components (Component I: Heritage food and beverage research and Component II: Lab experience based science education for SC/ST Students). Component II of the project is focused on enhancing student’s ability to identify questions and concepts through lab experience based training that guide scientific intelligence.
